3. Use band-aids to get the perfect French tip.

Bandaids are not limited to covering up boo-boos — they are an extremely useful French manicure tool! Lay the end of a bandaid vertically on your fingers to outline the perfectly-shaped French manicure line. 4. Use toothpaste and a toothbrush to remove nail polish stains.
