Originally from Venezuela, Ruben Zavarce moved to the United States in 2000. First in Charleston, West Virginia, he later escaped the cold and retreated to sunny Florida in 2002. In 2003, he began studying computer information technology degree while working for what is now Shear Express, Inc.
Starting out as a reservation specialist and support staff member, Ruben now holds the titles of Director of Operations for all Salon Jaylee locations, Shear Express Inc., TENAJ Beauty Group, and Chief Information Officer for TENAJ Salon Institute. His drive for networking and technology led him to where he is today.
Ruben’s favorite part of working in the beauty industry is helping other people, working with creative individuals, learning unique problem-solving skills, and finding inspiration from the integration of fashion and beauty!
