Every canvas started with the exact same steps, and somehow no two ghosts turned out alike.
Feels like a pretty accurate metaphor for this crew. Everyone brings something a little different to the table and it all comes together perfectly.
Grateful for a team that shows up for each other like this, paintbrush in hand or not. 🍂
It`s called cross-checking, and it`s the part of a haircut most guests never notice.
When you`re cutting an entire head of hair, your hands fall into a rhythm: same angle, same tension, section after section.
Which is why we step back. Tension can lie to you. A little extra pull on one side, a slight twist in how you`re standing, and a line can look perfectly even in the moment and completely uneven once the hair falls into place on its own.
Stepping back and picking the hair up again from another direction is how we catch that before it ever gets to you. It`s quality control, and it`s the reason your line still holds up once you leave the chair.
