The Blonde Chronicles: A Masterclass in Blonding Techniques

Our salon staff had the incredible opportunity to learn from one of the industry’s best, Carly Zanoni. The creator and owner of The Blonde Chronicles and The Blonde Chronicles University, Carly graced us with her presence at The Brownwood Hotel and Spa, right here in central Florida.

Carly, a renowned hair educator and influencer, flew all the way from the west coast to bestow her wisdom and expertise upon our team. Take our word for it — it was nothing short of amazing!

As a Schwarzkopf Professional Ambassador, Carly used the popular Schwarzkopf Professional BLONDME product line, giving our stylists insider tips and tricks on how-to be confident as a blonding specialist.

Embracing the Curl: R+Co Curly Cutting Education with Remy Awan

Our commitment to education doesn’t stop at blonding techniques — curls deserve some lovin’ too! That’s we were super happy to host another exclusive education event with hair expert and R+Co educator, Remi Awan.

(Did you know? R+Co, short for “Rogue and Company,” was founded in 2014 by a collective of hairstylists and beauty industry veterans. All their products are vegan, cruelty-free, and without parabens, sulfates, and petrolatum!)

Having over 21 years of experience, and as the Co-Founder of Red Feather Salon in McLean, Virginia, Remy brought a wealth of knowledge by leading our team through a deep dive into the art of cutting curly hair.

Our stylists learned advanced techniques for elevating and shaping curls, using both scissors and razors. Remy’s passion for curls, along with his creative approach to hair cutting, opened up a whole new world of possibilities for us.

Remy’s approach to curly hair is truly one-of-a-kind. What sets Remy apart is his ability to draw inspiration from nature, architecture, and films. He sees curly hair as a distinct form of individual declaration, with his techniques bringing out the best of every curl, coil, and wave.
